After 15 minutes Mendip's game improved with good passing from the midfield trio of Chloe Vernon, Nicole Flourentzou and Charlotte Cooper, setting up Letaasi Lucas for countless shots on goal. Mendip's defence of Alice Radford and Teana Trowell stepped up pressure on Warmley by stopping any attack getting further than the halfway line keeping them penned in their own half. Mendip's pressure finally paid off when Cooper hit a shot which took a deflection off a Warmley defender to beat the substitute keeper. Lilley Badger came on for Lucas up front before the half finished and nearly added to Mendip's tally with lots of hard work resulting in several shots at the Warmley keeperThe start of the second half saw the introduction of Hanna Worley for her debut and Indi O'Meara who slotted straight into the heart of the action and added to the constant pressure Mendip were putting on Warmley. Great passing from Worley and Flourentzou help to set up Cooper for her second goal game with a great run from half way to beat the Warmley keeper. Cooper tuned provider for Mendip's third goal with a great cross from the right which found Vernon at the back post to stroke the ball into the back of the Warmley net. Worley took the player of the match medal for and outstanding performance on her debut.
