GYMNASTICS - WESTON Aerobic Gymnastics took its regional gymnast squad to a competition in Gosport and were delighted when they all bought home gold medals.
WESTON Aerobic Gymnastics took its regional gymnast squad to a competition in Gosport and were delighted when they all bought home gold medals, keeping up the winning standards of the club.
The coaches were particularly pleased with Ella Millford who not only won the 10-11 year old individuals but also got the highest score of the day. Gymnasts representing Weston for the first time, Lucy Clark, Lucy Williams and Grace Maggs, showed a polished and confident performance on their way to success.
Cara Short who came third in the 12-14 individuals and then joined teammates Bethan Duck, Ella Millford to win the 12-14 trios. Foundations pair, Lara Hunt and Katy Day collected their second gold of the year, and first time out for national development pair, Issy Worral, and Lucy Clark won gold as did national development trio, Lucy Williams, Keira Gullick, Grace Maggs.
