TEN gymnasts from Weston are travelling this weekend to compete in the 12th Slovakian Open Aerobic Gymnastics Championships, being held over three days in Nove Zamky.
TEN gymnasts from Weston are travelling this weekend to compete in the 12th Slovakian Open Aerobic Gymnastics Championships, being held over three days in Nove Zamky.
The gymnasts comprising four current British champions and four British squad members will be representing Weston Aerobic Gymnastics and competing against 11 other countries, including such giants of the gymnastics world Bulgaria and Hungary.
The club have attended various internationals events over the years, and have always had great success, it is to be hoped the hard work and dedication of the gymnasts, coaches and parents will again pay off for the club.
It will be a busy weekend for the gymnasts as several are competing in two sections, and each section is packed with great gymnasts, so the Weston team will have to pull all the stops out and compete at their best to get on the winner’s podium.
