THE winner of the Avenue Tennis Club Mini Red Rovers tournament was once again Harry Burrow.

In second place was Jack Keates, closely followed by Megan Rundle. The other competitors Ellen Burrow, Owen Rose and first timers Stuart Child and Liam Reddish all competed well and gave good accounts of themselves, taking points from all of their opponents.

Megan, Jack, Ellen and Harry all attend the Avenue’s Red Ball Academy where they train together twice a week. They have also started travelling the county competing in other Mini Red tennis tournaments. The next one at the Avenue Tennis Club will be on November 28 and all are welcome to play in this competitive tournament.

A new membership offer is available to all new members joining during November, five months for the price of three.

The tennis club will be running its annual Christmas lunch on December 5 from 12.30pm. All are welcome and should put their names up on the list in the clubhouse foyer or contact Poo Jenkins to confirm their attendance.
