Weston Tennis Club member Maya Maxwell wins three club titles.
WESTON Tennis Club held the finals of three club tournament events recently.
In the ladies’ singles final, Maya Maxwell defeated Rita Granner in straight sets to secure her fourth singles title. Maya then partnered Jenny Skinner to victory in the ladies’ doubles, beating Ingrid Maxwell and Mahtab Khajeh 6-3, 6-1.
Maya completed a hat-trick of titles by partnering Dean Cope to victory in the mixed doubles, beating Suzanne Taylor and her son Lewis 6-3, 6-3 in a keenly contested match.
Weston Tennis Club caters for all ages and abilities and welcomes everyone from complete beginners to those seeking to play competitive tennis. Head coach, Jamie Allen provides a wide range of coaching sessions.
