GYMNASTICS - TWELVE-year-old Hollie Moore, a pupil at Broadoak Community School, became British Artistic Gymnastics Espoir Challenge champion.
TWELVE-year-old Hollie Moore, a pupil at Broadoak Community School, became British Artistic Gymnastics Espoir Challenge champion.
Hollie, who trains at the Academy of Gymnastics in Portishead, competed in the National Espoir Challenge Cup competition held at the GL1 Leisure Centre in Gloucester. She was crowned all-around national champion, national champion on bars and took home the silver medal on floor. The Academy of Gymnastics now has four British champions this year.
Hollie's gymnastics career started at the J21 Gymnastics Club in Weston and in 2006 she moved to the Academy of Gymnastics in Portishead, home of Beijing Olympics gymnast Imogen Cairns.
Hollie also represents the Academy, the County and the South West region at the highest levels.
