Hornets Rugby Club has been awarded the RFU Club Accreditation.
DES Chalmers, chairman of the Somerset Rugby Union is pictured presenting the RFU Club Accreditation award to Hornets chairman Paul Davidson.
The Accreditation is awarded to clubs that achieve six main criteria areas, which include retaining and recruitment of players, recruiting new players, providing high quality coaches, volunteers and referees, effective and efficient facilities, management and governance and the club’s integration within the local community, along with the five core values of rugby, teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.
Paul said: “It is great that all the hard work done by so many volunteers to enable rugby to be played by so many has been recognised and rewarded.”
