Four Hornettes girls travelled with Wellington to Sidmouth and came away with a narrow victory.
FOUR Hornettes girls’ Under-15s joined with Wellington to travel to Sidmouth.
Three of the girls made up the front row and the fourth on the wing nearly scored a try in a game, which saw Wellington win 34-30. The girls had a great game and are improving every time they play.
The girls Under-13s and Under-15s are now recruiting for next season, so any girls aged 10-14 interested in playing rugby, please contact team manager Jenny Cockayne on 07717 790838 for more details.
An Under-18 team will also be started next season as some of the Under-15s move up the age band, so any girls aged 15-17 please phone the above number for more information.
