Hornettes Rugby Club is looking for ladies and girls to join the club.
HORNETTES ladies’ and girls’ entered a combined team for a women’s touch rugby festival held in Bath.
The ladies and girls then attended the Weston Community Festival on the Beach Lawns, showing and demonstrating basic rugby skills.
The ladies entered a team into It’s a Knockout and despite a heavy downpour, they continued to challenge other teams and have an amazing time, finishing fourth overall out of six teams.
The club is hosting a family fun day on August 17 at Hornets Rugby Club where the women’s World Cup final will be shown. It is free to turn up, meet the ladies and girls and join in with the fun and games.

Ladies aged 18 and over interested in playing rugby, can contact Emma on 07557 967257 or email hornettesladies@gmail.com for more information, or just turn up on Wednesday evenings 7-8.30pm. The ladies are currently training on the Hutton Moor pitches.
