AVENUE Tennis Club head coach Vinny Duddy and Tom Spinks, aged eight, from Mark School, managed to keep a one-off rally going for 694 shots.
Junior coaching takes place every night of the week and on Saturdays for all ages and all abilties. See the club’s website for further details or give the office a ring on 01278 782758.
The club has competitive and social play organised throughout the week. The next adult social competition is on February 24 from 10.30am, non-members are welcome to attend and play.
Also on the 24th, Vinny will be running the BW Controls Ltd Mini Red (Under-8s) and Orange (8 to 9) tournaments from 11am and 1pm respectively.
