Table tennis player Jake Tucker has continued his successful season with a several more victories.
A Priory student has won another raft of awards after a sensational season in table tennis.
Jake Tucker, aged 13, of PCSA has thrived in the British national table tennis championships and now has carried off tournament wins across Bristol.
Jake’s team won the Division 1 junior title and also won the best boy award after only losing one game in the juniors. He was also presented with the winner’s doubles.
He has only been playing the game for two years, but has shot up the rankings to 256 in Britain. Jake is also part of the Under-15 Somerset county table tennis team.
PCSA has a tremendous record of producing and encouraging talent across a wide range of sports including rugby, football, netball and athletics.
Principal Jane McBride said: “This has been a wonderful season for Jake and he is going from strength to strength.”
