Jake Buckley picked up 6-25 against Mells as Wrington cruised to an eight wicket victory.

WRINGTON bowler Jake Buckley picked up the superb figures of 6-25 runs off his eight overs against Mells.

Five of his victims were clean bowled as he roared in with pace. He was well supported by Tom Hensell and Jack Fairs who tied up one end. Only Davis stood firm and his late hitting added respectability to the total as his 56 not out saw Mells reach 112 all out.

Steve Bright and Lewis Yule virtually ended the contest with a quickfire opening stand before Bright was caught for 22, while Yule remained unbeaten on 47 not out.

Wrington travel to league leaders Stratton-on-the-Fosse on Saturday with some momentum and a full strength team.
