WINSCOMBE’S James Dodd was in action last weekend at Mallory Park in Leicestershire for the opening round of the 2011 British Masters of Motocross Championship, looking to improve on his eighth place finish in last years Pro MX2 championship.
Qualifying didn’t go too well for James, as some minor bike set up troubles meant he ended the session in 14th position.
With bike problems now sorted, James got a good start in race one and was in 10th place after the opening lap, he made some progress up the order to finish eighth. The next race saw James finish ninth and ninth overall on the day.
