Jamie Hockey of Weston Rifle Club became the first junior member to become champion in the club’s 59 years.
JAMIE Hockey of Weston Rifle Club became the first junior member to become champion in the club’s 59 years.
Under-21 Jamie, won all three inter-club trophies, the Somerset League Trophy and the best improver trophy.
The presentation was held at the Red Cow, Brent Knoll, with a buffet and skittles.
Results – club champion: Jamie Hockey; runner-up: Mrs Jean Thorne, silver tray. Somerset League Cup, Jenner Trophy, Roberts Trophy and RMK Trophy: Jamie Hockey. Mrs Jean Thorne won the Spoon Cup.
In recognition of Jamie’s achievement, a special engraved cup and cheque were awarded.
