Johnny Page won the latest open match at Shiplate Farm Fisheries near Bleadon.
AN OPEN match on the Main Lake at Shiplate Farm started in warm, but bright conditions and ended with an easterly wind blowing in the face of the anglers.
Johnny Page on peg 15 won the match fishing the pole shallow on pellet, with lot of feed over it. He bagged up 130lb to take first place. Second was Rob Dowden (peg 7), 65lb 12oz, followed by Steve Howell (Shiplate) (peg 11), with 52lb 10oz.
Silvers went to John Dursley, (Enterprise Angling) (peg 6), 8lb 15oz.
Bristol Post Office held a match on the Hawthorns, which was won by Ritchie Hawkins (peg 3), 72lb 8oz, followed by John Hawkins (peg 1), 67lb and Lee Wakefield (peg 9), 64lb 10oz.
