Joint boxing show at Hutton Moor

Weston Warriors and Weston Boxing Club are putting on a joint show at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre on Saturday evening.

WESTON Warriors Boxing Club will be featuring at the annual ABA joint boxing show with Weston at Hutton Moor Sports Centre on Saturday.

Three boxers from the Warriors club will be representing the town, alongside Weston members. Tickets are available on the door at £12, so please come along and support your local boxers.

Liam Mitchell, aged 14, Alan Norman (26) and Lewis Mulhall (20), will be featuring on the show. Lewis, a well-known local champion martial artist, has decided to try his hand at boxing with the intention to go professional in foreseeable future.

This will be Liam’s and Lewis’s debut boxing bouts. The club is sponsored by Longs Contractors and would like to thank them for their continued support.

The club situated at Unit 22, Coker Road, Worle, which is behind Sainsbury’s and has a fully equipped gym with a new boxing ring and full range of new ringside punch bags.

The club train Mondays and Wednesdays at 6.30pm and all are welcome. ABA trainers Matthew Martin, Julian Nailer and Mathew Slater all have years of experience in boxing and are on hand to help the members achieve their goals.
