Winscombe Junior Hockey Club held an end of season festival to mark their first season on their new pitch at Sidcot.

Winscombe Junior Hockey Club enjoyed a HockeyFest to mark the end of a successful season on their new home pitch at Sidcot.

More than 50 of the club’s young players were able to practice their stick skills in small teams as they negotiated a variety of different skills stations across the pitch, collecting points for their teams along the way.

The winning team were presented with some sweet treats as a prize before dividing into seven-a-side teams to play a small inter-club hockey tournament.

The whole event was rounded off with some traditional post-match hockey teas which the girls were able to enjoy outside in the sunshine.

The event was well supported by lots of parents who enjoyed cheering the girls on as well as also partaking in the post-match refreshments.

Many thanks to Tom Ware of Churchill Investments, for kindly loaning and setting up the tea tent.
