Weston Karate Club held its latest grading @Worle in its air-conditioned hall.
@Worle was the venue for Weston Karate Club’s latest grading.
It was a busy, hot day, luckily the grading was held in an air-conditioned hall.
The grading is split into two sessions to reduce the size of the class and the standard of knowledge displayed by all was very high.
The grading panel often award two prizes, on this occasion two prizes were given out in the junior grading and two further prizes in the senior grading.
In the first session, one was awarded to Chloe and the other to Isabelle for their marked improvement and determination to succeed.
The second more advanced session, awards were given to Kate and Sean for their attitude and effort on the day.
Karate is not just about fighting or keeping fit, it brings out an individuals confidence, teaches respect for each other and helps people of all ages understand that helping others and working together is essential in our modern society.
Although karate is an individual activity and grades are awarded on this basis, it is also imperative that students can work as a group.
Karate is not just for adults, but ideal for all members of a family. The club is currently offering a two weeks free trial for all new students and discounts on family groups over three people.
Also due to the recent surge in popularity at Hutton Moor, Weston Karate Club has expanded to @Worle.
