Team Mendip Red Sox were held to a draw by Bishops Lydeard.
TEAM Mendip Red Sox played only their second game in seven weeks against a new and improved Bishops Lydeard side.
Mendip started brightly and found themselves quickly on top, which lead to Annabel Cunningham scoring her 10th goal of the season with a thunderous strike from outside the box.
Mendip continued to press with some free-flowing attacking moves, but couldn’t find the second goal. As the half went on, it was Bishops Lydeard who started to come back into the game.
The second half saw Mendip on the back foot and had to rely on some outstanding defending from Maisie Lynn to keep Lydeard from scoring.
