Weston Wheelers enjoyed a fine all-round route designed by Andy Bemand.
THE latest Weston Wheelers route was designed by Andy Bemand and was a great all-rounder.
Starting from Priory School, the ride went out through Ebdon and Wick St Lawrence onto the A370 over to Congresbury. The route passed Cadbury and Claverham and up Wrington Hill, the first climb of the day.
It was onwards and upwards to Burrington Combe for another climb to take the riders to Charterhouse and over the top of the Mendips. From Priddy, it was down to the levels and home via Mark.
The total distance was 54 miles with 2,300ft of climbing and an average speed of 14.5 mph. Big thanks go to Andy, Paul, Paul, Ben, Jason Andrew, Steve, Greg and Dene.
