Two Woodland Tennis Club juniors gained their LTA Tennis leaders qualification.
WOODLAND Tennis Club’s juniors celebrated as another two of its members gained their LTA Tennis leaders qualification.
Ewan Burge and Stephie Buckingham helped out with the starter group over many months in order to complete three modules: an introduction to tennis, helping at your tennis venue and organising a competition.
They devised their own activities, led warm-ups and finally ran the club’s junior doubles tournament, which was a great success.
The junior section’s next big event is the Road to Wimbledon tournament, where the winner may get to play in the national finals at Wimbledon.
