Luke Mason (10) from Weston, recently became the Gloucestershire Amateur Fencing Union junior foil champion.
WESTON fencer Luke Mason (10) became the Gloucestershire Amateur Fencing Union junior foil champion at a recent event.
Luke, who attends Christ Church Junior School, became champion at Thornbury in an event open to fencers of all levels from Gloucester and Bristol to become the best of their county.
He trains at Churchill Fencing Club and a Bristol club call the Ravens. He competed in the Under-12s category, beating all opposition to become age group champion.
