Eleven-year-old Luke Mason successfully defended his Under-12 Gloucester Foil title.
LUKE Mason, aged 11, has successfully defended his Under-12 Gloucester Foil (fencing) title for the second time, beating eight opponents.
The competition took place at Wycliffe College, Stroud. Luke also came third in the South West Under-13 epee in Wellington, last month.
Luke attends Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College and fences locally at Churuchill Fencing Club. The club has been established for 20 years and probably has more than 20 members.
