GUY James and Toby Attwood of Cheddar Judo Club both entered the West of England Judo championships held in Devon, and came away with silver and bronze medals respectively.
Guy James fighting in the Under 42kg category fought in a round robin event winning two fights and losing one which gave him a brilliant silver medal.
Toby Attwood fighting in the Under 27kg which was a very large category having lost his opening fight it meant that if he was to medal he would have to do it the hard way of winning every fight. Toby had his revenge in the final for the bronze medal beating the opponent he lost to in the first round.
Cheddar Judo Club are very proud of their medallists and their achievements are a reward of much hard work.
