MEDIVALE’S miserable league form continued as they let a 3-2 half-time lead slip, finally losing 7-4.
They got off to a flying start when James Brown fired home from 30 yards, but Crusaders replied with two quick goals. Callum McManus levelled the scores with a cool finish before Andy Hayes restored the lead.
Not for the first time this season, a second half collapse saw Clevedon score five times to secure all three points.
With five league games left before the cup final against unbeaten BFC, Medivale need to find some form if they are to retain the cup.
