Splitz Gymnastics Club youngsters at Southern Regionals


Splitz Gymnastics Club have enjoyed more success on the national and international stage recently.

Worle's Toby, Charlie and Millie Baker travelled with coach Adam Ludwell to Lithuania to compete.

St Marks Primary pupil Millie was in a field of 57 and just missed out on a place in the final after finishing in a respectable 12th place.

Priory School pupil Charlie gave one of the best displays by the boys and earned a deserved bronze medal behind older brother Toby, who also studies at Priory and took silver.

Toby teamed up with Zoe Wilshire for another silver before Splitz travelled to Hampshire for a Southern Regional competition.

George Weall won individual gold and pairs with Erin Aggett, while Toby Baker won individual and pairs silver with Wilshire.

Millie and Charlie Baker added bronze, as did Carmen Benham, as Izzy Taylor and Laila Astill teamed up for another.

Ellise King was fifth, whiel Aggett was seventh and Austeja Andrulyte showed great promise on her competition debut.
