Weston's Huw Morgan has become the second player to be sponsored by Weston Minis and Juniors to mark their 50th anniversary.

The Minis and Juniors had already agreed to sponsor club captain Tom Sugg who, like Morgan, came through the youth set-up.

Morgan made his debut for the club in 2015 against Wells on November 28 and has gone on to play in 75 matches, scoring 25 tries.

"Huw Morgan has a special place in the hearts of those working in the Minis and Juniors," said Junior chairman Daniel Denning.

"Huw is a good first-team player, however he is a class act with what he does with the Minis and Juniors.

"He has for the past few years helped coach some of the MJ age-groups. He has this infectious smile and is great with the kids.

"It's a pleasure that the section have been able to sponsor him this year."

Outside-centre Morgan, who has played in all the age groups, said: "It's an honour to be awarded sponsorship during the 50th year.

"The club were the first club in the country to develop youth rugby, and being recognised at the club I played my youth rugby means a lot to me.

"I'm excited to get back to the pitch and represent the town in the National League."
