In the practice sessions, Robbie was quick and father Julien worked hard on the set up, but as the heavens opened on Sunday morning, all the hard work was irrelevant.

The day’s racing consisted of three eight lap heats and a 10 lap final. Robbie waltzed through the qualifying to easily claim pole position.

In the final, Robbie was simply in a different league as he was never challenged and went on to win by five seconds. Not only did he win every heat and the final, he also took fastest laps in all three heats and the final.

Robbie said “I have loved my time in Honda’s and my dad did such a good job to get the kart ready and I wanted to end my time in Honda’s on a high, I must thanks Eurocams, Mountney and BWOC who helped make it all happen.”

Support continues from Talon, PIAA, WSM Fasteners and Bespoke Mfg.
