AUSSIE star Leigh Adams won the 'rider of the night' title at the Rebels clash against the Swindon Robins. The 35-year-old nine times Australian champion was not beaten by a Rebels rider at the 'David and Goliath' match at the Oak Tree Arena in Highbridge

AUSSIE star Leigh Adams won the 'rider of the night' title at the Rebels clash against the Swindon Robins.The 35-year-old nine times Australian champion was not beaten by a Rebels rider at the 'David and Goliath' match at the Oak Tree Arena in Highbridge.Leigh was voted into the top spot by the massive crowd at the track using a new text voting system being tested on the night. The vote was sponsored by the Weston & Somerset Mercury.One of the voters was randomly selected by a computer to meet Leigh in the centre of the track and present him with his award. Neil and his daughter Venna Holt handed a shield and a cash prize to the Robins rider.* Pictured are Neil & Venna Holt who presented the rider of the night award to Leigh Adams.
