Local rally driver Simon Harraway from Weston was joined by co-driver Mark Carrow to record yet another win and make it five straight victories in the Rallying.co.uk stages ASWMC South West championship.Even after losing first and second gear on stage 1 and a minute to the rest of the field, the rising star of British rallying finished first again, a clear minute ahead of his nearest rival. That was Simon's last rally in the 1600 8v Vauxhall Nova as he now will be competing the remainder of 2007 in a Prodrive built Subaru Impreza. Simon will be rallying all over the UK in the BRC (British Rally Championship) hoping to emulate Colin McRae and compete in the WRC.The next few months will be spent testing as much as possible in preparation for the last round of the World Rally Championship Rally GB in December.Simon would like to thank his father Martin for preparing the car which has had 100 per cent reliability.
