Steve Turvey blasted his way in to the championship lead at Castle Combe's season-opener last in torrential rain that was near monsoon conditions. The light blue Subaru Impreza of Rampage Performance scorched from row nine on the grid in to second position by the first corner. "It was better conditions for me today, the wetter, the nastier, the better." The pace has picked up since last year with a full grid and lots of exiting new models have joined the fray. This season is going to be tough and as a team Rampage will have to be on top form. Steve managed to pilot the car to its rightful position on the grid, lapping their nearest competitor Mark Harrison. Both the car and driver will be returning to Castle Combe on Bank holiday Monday, racing starts at 1pm. Visit the rampage website www.rampage-hks.co.uk for news, results and championship standings.
