THERE was no stopping Myles Angell when he won Clevedon's Junior Open with a five under par score of 67 gross.
On a course with plenty of run and fast greens, Myles was one under at the turn and went on to complete his round by chipping in on the 18th to amass a total of seven birdies.
This win places Myles at the top of the Abu Dhabi Junior Golf Championship table, a nation-wide competition sponsored by the Daily Telegraph and he is now well placed to travel to Abu Dhabi and compete in the finals in November.
Results (all Clevedon unless stated): Overall winner of the Gordano Cup, Myles Angell (5 handicap) 67 gross. Best stableford score and winner of the Castle Cup, Ali Balcombe (19) 51 points. Winner of the Spike Bar Shield, Ed Cawse (23) 44 points
