The Weston District League skittles team gained a narrow victory in a four-way inter-league match.
THE annual four-way inter-league match between the Wrington Vale, Weston District, Weston Central and the Winscombe Club took place at Winscombe.
All four teams battled it out up until the last set and it came clear that only the Wrington Vale and Weston Central were going to come out the victors.
Some great skittling from the Wrington boys on the last set took the match to the last ball of the night, but Weston Central were just too strong, coming out victors by three pins.
Top score on the night was John Bastin (60) for the Weston Central side.
