SOMERSET pool ladies became the National Knockout Cup champions, winning the event in the inter-county finals in Great Yarmouth.
In the first round they defeated Northumberland 23-11 and reached the semi-finals after defeating Suffolk 23-13 in the quarters.
Facing Norfolk in the semis, the Somerset ladies won 23-8 and in the final, they defeated Lancashire 23-17.
