Neil wins top award at Clevedon

CLEVEDON Rugby Club held their dinner-dance at the Equestrian Centre which was well attended.

Trophies were awarded to: Clubman of the year, Neil O'Rourke; Kicking Cup, Mark Jenkins; Try Scoring Cup,Chris Page; Coaches' Player, John Potts; Grafter, Harvey Russell; Most improved player, Simon Johns; Captain's player, Neil Tucker; Players' player, Roger Birkin;

Second XV player, Nick Hudson; Third XV player, Mark Jenkins; Third XV most improved player, Ross Hale.

John Pearce and Neil Tucker were presented with silver salvers for playing 500 games.

John Evans was presented with gifts from the players and committee for his services to the club over 36 years, and having played over 600 games.

Training for the new season will start in June.
