Russ Peck smashed the match record at Shiplate Farm, with a massive bag of 170lbs.
A NEW Main Lake match record at Shiplate Farm was set by Russ Peck (Thatchers), surpasssing previous record by over 50 pounds.
Russ drew peg 15 and fished 6m banded pellet over micro pellet on the pole at 11.5 metres. Some fish were found in the margins and others were feeding further out. He finished the match with a massive bag of 170lb.
Results: Russ Peck (peg 15), 170lb; Gordon Jones (peg 14), 80lb 10oz; Rich Hawkins (peg 3), 72lb 6oz. Silvers went to Stevie Howell with 40lb 8oz.
