Weston Athletic Club is launching a new one-mile junior running race.
WESTON Athletic Club is launching a new one-mile junior running race as part of their monthly five-mile Prom Race series.
The new race will be held on October 18, November 15 and December 20, starting at 6.45pm on the promenade near to the harbour and the race is free for all juniors.
The club is holding this new event to encourage young athletes and to give them the opportunity to compete in a running race under normal race conditions. This new event is fully licensed and full marshalling and time control will be provided and a prize will be awarded for the winners.

This is the club’s attempt to help the Olympic legacy survive of such a superb sporting year by encouraging young athletes and giving them this new opportunity.
