SPEEDWAY - THE Somerset Rebels will go into 2010 with new team sponsors, the internationally renowned designers and manufacturers of workwear and leisure clothing, Dickies, replacing Sharp Retail Systems.

THE Somerset Rebels will go into 2010 with new team sponsors, the internationally renowned designers and manufacturers of workwear and leisure clothing, Dickies, replacing Sharp Retail Systems, who have been the Somerset team sponsors for the past three seasons, the team to be known as the Dickies Somerset Rebels.

"With my increasing involvement with the management consortium here at Somerset, we felt that it would be good for the club to have a new team sponsor and the fresh impetus that would bring to the side," explained Sharp's managing director, Mark Saunders.

Somerset promoter Debbie Hancock was delighted with the news of Dickies increased involvement with the Rebels, as she explained at the announcement: "We are proud and delighted to have Dickies as our main team sponsor for the 2010 season. They are world leaders in their field of work and leisure clothing, and it is an honour to be associated with a company of this status.

"I would also like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the club's team partners for 2010, Sharp Retail Systems, who have been fantastic team sponsors for the past three seasons, Mike Manning Audio and Whitepack Network Services, both of whom have been long standing and very loyal supporters of the club, and to welcome on board Spearpoint Construction and D.R Jones (Yeovil) Ltd who are also joining the club as team partners for 2010.
