WESTON martial arts instructor Nigel Helps has just kicked his way to a world championship Ildokwan title.Nigel, aged 45, won the title as part of a Great Britain team that took part in the international Ildokwan competition league. The instructor, who holds a first Dan black belt, teaches at Castle Batch Primary School in Worle and has been studying martial arts for nearly six years.Nigel said: "I'm really pleased to be part of a team that has won a world championship and I want to continue competing for as long as I can. I hope to give people in Weston the chance to learn martial arts."Nigel's instructor Andy Davies added: "Nigel has done really well and has shown many young people what you can achieve with a little bit of hard work and commitment."Anyone interested in learning martial arts can contact Nigel on 0800 0730297.
