ASDA Weston has been selected to support Noelle Finch as their sporting champion for 2011.
Run in conjunction with a Sports Aid cheque for �500 and fundraising from Asda, Noelle can carry on excelling in her sport which is windsurfing. Rachel Mansfield, community colleague at Asda said: “This is the third year we have been running this scheme and we have seen some great things from the athletes involved.”
Noelle commented: “Since January, I have continued to train hard on the RSX, sailing in different wind strengths and competing on the new kit for the first time. I was third in the 8.5m Youth Olympic Classes at Weymouth (female) which was great.”
