Ollie Walker is the new British Fab Racing Rookie champion of the year.

SEVEN-year-old Ollie Walker is the British Fab Racing Rookie champion with a round to go.

Ollie finished the penultimate round in Rowrah, Cumbria, in a comfortable second place in three races, and overall second. He finished the day with an unassailable 96-point lead.

Ollie, who is sponsored by Pro Scaffolding, is well supported by his father Rhys. He was recently invited to race at Silverstone in the pro class and came third overall.

His mother Karla said: “We couldn’t be more proud of him. He has only been riding a year and has become champion at the first attempt. Ollie has shown real determination throughout the year.”
