CHEDDAR Tennis Club is holding an open day on May 10 and inviting people of all abilities to come and have a go.
The morning sessions are for children - between 10-11am for four-10-year-olds and 11.15-12.30 for those aged 11 and over. The afternoon from 2.30-4pm is for adults of all ages.
On court, the club’s professional LTA coaches will be teaching tennis skills and organising fun games, with all equipment provided, including racquets. Players should wear trainers and sports clothes. Off court club members will provide information on playing and coaching opportunities.
The club welcomes new members of all ages and abilities and has opportunities for all, from lessons for complete beginners through to social tennis, and tournaments and league matches for the more competitive. There are discounts for new members joining over the weekend.
