Shiplate Farm Fisheries held an open match over the Bank Holiday in dry conditions.
THE weather held dry for the big Bank Holiday open match at Shiplate Farm, Bleadon.
The match was held over all three lakes and the overall winner took home a large cash sum. Other cash prizes went to section winners of the three lakes.
Overall winner Steve Howell (peg 14b), Main Lake, caught his haul (83lb 12oz) on the pole, fishing meat over pellet in the margins at 6m.
Section winners were: Tom Duckett (peg 1) Main Lake, 82lb 12oz; Mark Bromsgrove (peg 1) Westpool, 74lb 7oz; Dave Cockayne (peg 3) Hawthorns, 59lb 5oz.
