An open match held at Shiplate Farm Fisheries was won by Johnny Page.
AN OPEN match on the Hawthorns saw 14 anglers compete for top cash prizes at the Shiplate Farm Fisheries venue.
Although a hot, breezy day and the anglers bag weights were fairly close at the final shout, it was Johnny Page who got a good lead on the other anglers, fishing meat, shallow down the edge to end the match with 92lb 6oz.
Results: Johnny Page (p7), 92lb 6oz; John Hawkins (p2), 72lb; Andy Curry (p5), 51lb 4oz; Julian Pinkett (p14), 40lb 6oz.
