Shiplate Farm Fisheries held an open match on the Westpool in calm conditions.

An open match on the Westpool at Shiplate Farm was fished hard due to the humid, calm conditions and lack of a ripple on the water.

Kurt Pinkett fished the method in peg seven to the far bank using 8mm pellet and worm down the edge on the pole to win the match with 65lb 7oz.

Second was Steve Howell (peg 2), 61lb, followed by Ritchie Hawkins (peg 15), 59lb 4oz. Silvers went to Gordon Jones (peg 14), 17lb 14oz.

Bristol match group PSV fished a match on the Hawthorns. Results: Ryan Radford (peg 9), 118lb 12oz; Mark Radford (peg 1), 93lb 6oz; Matt Taynton (peg 7), 52lb 4oz.
