Steve Howell won the latest open match held at Shiplate Farm, near Weston.
AN OPEN match on the Westpool at Shiplate Farm near Weston, still managed good results, despite several recent changes of air pressure and humidity.
Steve Howell (Shiplate) fished worm and hemp over ground bait on peg 12, at 16m to the far shelf to bag 109lb 12oz and first place.
Second was Andy France (Cadbury Angling) peg 6, 75lb 2oz, followed by Tich Williams (Thyers/Drennan) peg 14, 62lb 4oz. Silvers went to Ron Stark (Weston AA) peg 15, 26lb 4oz.
