Penalty shoot-out cup final victory for Crusaders

Weston Crusaders Under-13s retained the Woodspring Cup with victory over Clevedon after a penalty shoot-out.

WESTON Crusaders Under-13s put disappointment of a first league defeat behind them and made it back to back wins in the Woodspring Cup final against Clevedon.

They started brightly with Jake and James going close early on and there were a few fine saves from Harry in goal.

Clevedon took the lead from a quick break and looked to have the upper hand for a spell, with a goal-line clearance and some tough tackling keeping them at bay.

The game looked lost until the final seconds when a huge clearance from Harry put James through to head the ball over a helpless keeper to take it to extra time.
