A RECENT day’s fishing at Jacklands Fishing Lakes, Tickenham, saw Peter Corkell from Bristol hook the latest tattooed blue trout.
Only one of these blue beauties is released into the lake at any one time and fishermen pay an optional �1 into the sweepstake pot. It was Peter’s lucky day, and after catching the fish on a cat’s whisker fly, he walked off with �180, just in time for Christmas.
