Portishead Town A lead Division One of the Weston & District League by four points with five games left after sharing the spoils in a double header with against Sporting Weston.

The Kewstoke-based side took the first game 2-1 with goals from Joe Smith and Corey Thomas-Barker.

Portishead then hit back winning the second game by the same scoreline as Thomas-Barker netted the consolation goal.

St George Easton-in-Gordano will not have given up hope as they beat visiting Wedmore twice, with Lewis Bisacre's double, Tyler Ackerman, Tom Bell and Deniel Parslow netting in a 5-0 win.

The second game was much closer as Bisacre scored the only goal.

Two goals from Lewis Hicks and one from Luke Page saw Worle Reserves to a 3-1 win over Nailsea Utd A, with Ash Allen netting in reply.

In Division Two, Yatton & Cleve United took over top spot as they overcame Winscombe A twice.

Chris Howard and Stephen Owen scored doubles as Jody Scott and Simon Tarr completed a 6-1 win after Tarr and a brace from Matt Finnegan settled the first game 3-0.

Worle Rangers were held 1-1 by lowly Nailsea United B, as Jake McBride scored in reply to Rob Prior, and Hutton Reserves had a day to forget losing twice to Portishead Town B (2-0 and 4-1).

Banwell Reserves beat Locking Park Reserves 5-1 as Ross Stockhall helped himself to a hat-trick with other goals added by James Brown and Ryan Eardley.

The Division Three leaders had a walkover as Clevedon Utd KV Reserves had trouble raising a team and West Wick suffered a setback as Axbridge United completed the double as Ted Hacker scored twice and Tyler White found the net, with Michell Childs and Mitch Corrick replying.

Four goals from Conor Harley and one each from Ben Collins and Dan Steven helped St George EIG Reserves to a 6-3 win at Uphill Castle A, while a double from Luke Kershaw and one from Chris Stevens and Sam Newton saw Sporting Weston win a close game 4-3 at AFC Nailsea.

Burham United A beat Hutton A 6-2 as Harvey Barnshaw's double, Chris Bailey, Kieron Moores and Harry Penfold all found the net in reply to Nicky Daniels and Rob Gerrett.

The Division Four game between Swiss Valley Rangers and Nailsea United Colts did not take place as Nailsea could not raise five teams in total on a Bank Holiday weekend, so Rangers took the points.

Two goals from Paul Francis saw St George EIG A win 2-0 against Axbridge Utd Reserves, while the second match ended 4-4 with Francis again scoring twice as Archie Sharpe and George Shorney also netted.

United's goals came from Taryn Selway-Joseph's double, Joseph Podpadec and Dale Waite.

Burnham Utd B took on Yatton & Cleeve United B twice with the Cleeve-based side winning the first game 4-0 as Max Cooke scored twice and Mike Lee and Stuart Newson added the others.

Burnham hit back in the second game as Andrew Mockridge, Willie Wood and Riley Osborne all scored in their 3-0 win.

Two goals from Nick Parkinson and one each from William Clamp and Josh Young saw Banwell A beat Wedmore Reserves 4-1, as Harry Brooks replied.

The second game ended 1-0 to Banwell as Thomas Davis scored.
