The match started evenly with Chris Thomas getting the custodians on the board hitting a 90 checkout and averaging 22.06. Daz Paul again won well 3-0 with a tidy 24.24, Bath then took the next two ties to level matters up.

Raddys then began to pull away. Mike Cannon won a close tie 3-2 hitting eight tons, followed by the dependable Bob Hadley (3-1) with a 22.19 average.

Paul Smith and Steve Thirkettle then increased Raddys lead to 6-2 with their triumphs. But the best two performances came in the proceeding rubbers. Firstly John Anderson who hit a super 25.92 average with a 180 chucked in, but that was surpassed by Graham Kurle who hit a tasty 26.84 in his 3-0 win.

Adam McNally also won 3-0 with a 22.43 to put Raddys in a comfortable 9-3 advantage with the pairs to follow.

Needing just one win to confirm victory the Weston team did not have to wait long as Anderson and Davis won 3-0. Further successes for Kurle and Hadley 3-1, Thirkettle and Burton 3-2 and Shears and Thomas 3-0 left the final score 26-10 to Raddys and maintains Raddys superb showing so far this season.

Man of the match was Graham Kurle for his excellent 26.84 average. Captain Mike Harding was ecstatic with the momentum that this team is building and wanted to thank the whole squad for their continued support.
